A big part of my motivation in starting this blog was to share some of my favorite panties, the panties that I've worn and loved for years. These are panties that I consider firmly in the "classics" category.
Like a lot of my readers, I got started wearing panties at a young age, but I didn't have the independence and privacy to really explore the full range of women's underwear until I was a little older. The internet opened up some incredible possibilities for a guy like me who was curious about the world of possibilities that women's underwear had to offer.
I recall one of my first-ever purchases on Amazon, a 3 pack of Carole Antron nylon lace-trim briefs. Because I was just guessing at sizes those days, they ended up being three sizes too big! I've been known to wear some big panties in my day, but these were ridiculous. I went back to the drawing board-- and got serious about my panties.
Any man who is serious about wearing panties will sooner or later come across Vanity Fair, the unquestioned juggernaut of men's lingerie. These panties have a cult following that dates back decades.
In the far-flung olden days of the 1990s internet, one of my most impactful discoveries as a young man was "Lingerie Lovers," a website for men who wear panties. The site's advice columnists, responding to hundreds of emails from guys who were learning they were not alone, went by the pseudonyms "Van and Olga," after Vanity Fair and Olga panties. Because of that, I had heard of Vanity Fair long before I ever found or wore a pair. Some panties are just legendary like that.
It's time for another classics spotlight, and nothing could be more classic than the Illumination line of underwear from Vanity Fair. The illumination line comes in any cut you want: from string bikinis to hi-cuts to hipsters and briefs, I truly believe any guy could find a size and cut that would be a perfect fit.
That's what I keep coming back to with these panties: the fit. The unique fabric is soft and supple, providing a perfectly balanced support to the male anatomy, while still being silky. I find the hi-cut in size 7 is so perfectly fit to me that I honestly don't think anything fits better.
Take it from Hope Alexander:
When you talk to men who love wearing lingerie, one brand comes up time and time again: Vanity Fair. Vanity Fair is not one of the showiest brands, nor is it the most feminine from an aesthetic standpoint. It is, however, undeniably one of the most comfortable and soft brands with designs that lend themselves well to being worn by men.

When you wear these panties you know you're not skimping on quality or luxury. Just a glance at the sheer number of reviews left by men for this underwear should tell you you're in good hands. (Seriously- read the reviews and remember to mark them "helpful"!)
One thing I've noticed is that it seems like Kohl's always has a few exclusive colors and patterns for Vanity Fair panties- just a tip for the hardcore collectors out there (they exist!)
In conclusion, I hope I've convinced you to give these classics a try. You won't be alone- as this is one of the best selling panties in existence, you'll be among the millions of men and women who wear them every day as a show of commitment to comfort, style, and elegance.
