I've known pairs of this style to last through years of daily wear and hundreds of washings. They're not super feminine, as far as women's panties go, but the elastic bands do have a bit of shimmer to them, which is nice.
My Particular Pair
The ones I'm wearing today are navy blue, size 6. I'm usually a size 7, though, so at first they were tighter than I would like, but after repeated wear they fit like a glove. I've had this particular pair for a while now, and it has held up under repeated washing without falling apart or fraying.
High cut briefs usually ride up in the back on me, but this pair stays safely below the waistband of my jeans or sweat pants. This might be because of the above-mentioned size disparity. I've worn them jogging, while out on the town, or sometimes just around the house.
I put these on last night and wore them to bed as part of my comfortable t-shirt and panty pajama outfit.
